NZSLTA 3 Day Conference 2025
We are excited to announce that we are hosting the NZSLTA conference at Waitangi Treaty Grounds, It is being held on Matariki weekend which is perfect timing as the meaning of Matariki really influences a lot of what we need to cover at the conference.
The conference is a valuable professional development event for all NZSL tutors, teachers, mentors and researchers. It is an opportunity to share experiences, to learn about using and teaching resources and to share ideas, learning about teaching in cultural settings. As we want our Culture to be honoured and respected, we want to honour and respect other cultures. And teach our Language with great respect for all to use. Which perfectly ties with this year’s theme is:
"Our Language: the pathway to our future"
