A tailored Deaf Culture workshop for either 2, 4 or 7 hours. Essential for frontline staff, teachers, healthcare workers and all staff.
This course covers Deaf Culture and what that is, including Deaf identity and the different perspectives of this.
It covers NZSL as a language and gives important communication tips.
This workshop can be delivered at your event/workplace/school. It will be tailored to your specific needs.

Course overview:
Join and learn New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL) course in Palmerston North!

NZSL is a beautiful language, and an official language of NZ. This is a NZSL Int 2a course - suitable for students who have completed the Beginner level course (1d). Certificate of Attendance and will be issued at the end of the course*.

This course will cover on unis 10 and 11.

Notes:

*Certificate of Attendance are on request and with 80% attendance being meet. Please note that registering online confirms your place in the course. Minimum number of students applies - if minimum numbers are not meet course may be postponed or cancelled. Please read our cancellation policy.

For onsite classes at Cambridge for 2 x Level 1A Beginner, sign up now. Students prefer face-to-face learning and it's a great opportunity to meet new people. The course will cover topics like Greetings & Meeting, Our Class, Needs & Wants for 6 weeks.

Registration closes two weeks before the start of each course, so make sure you don't miss out on your secure space. The cost for the 6-week course is $130.00.
